Is stress-induced belly fat a thing, and is Relacore the fat-burner for this type of belly fat? Are there other fat burners that are better than Relacore when it comes to losing belly fat?

Most importantly, is there a long-term solution for dealing with stubborn stress-induced belly fat?

In this article, we’ll explore the world of stress belly fat and the perceived effectiveness of Relacore fat burner in getting rid of the stubborn belly fat.

But first things first…

Does stress cause and increased accumulation of fat around your midsection?

Unfortunately, yes. In addition to your unhealthy eating habits and the sedentary lifestyle, stress is another big contributing factor to belly fat.

And it all has to do with high cortisol levels. According to the American Institute of Stress (Yes, it is an actual thing), cortisol/ stress causes an increase in the depositing of fats around the stomach area at abnormal levels.

There also are studies that have shown that men with the highest cortisol levels tend to have bigger beer bellies than men who are less stressed.

To understand the correlation between abdominal fats and stress, you need to know that the stress hormone, cortisol has an impact on your metabolism. And the primary reason for this is that our bodies are naturally programmed to seek and reach out for comfort foods whenever they feel stressed out.

But cortisol’s influence on belly fat goes beyond the cravings for comfort food. Essentially, cortisol not only increases your appetite by signaling the production of ghrelin, but it also encourages the body to store excess calories around the belly area rather than encouraging the burning of calories.

Unfortunately, the excess calories stored will not be burned off, and with higher stress levels, there is more accumulation of fats and a never-ending cycle that soon leaves you with an unflattering belly, despite your previous size.

Unless you deal with your daily stressors and find something that will encourage fat burning, increase your metabolism, and suppress your appetite, your self-esteem and confidence will go down the drain.

Today, we’d like to help you overcome the belly fat challenge by looking at one of the products that is regarded as the best in fat-burning – Relacore.

Is it that good, or are there better alternatives?

Relacore Reviews

relacore reviews

Relacore is a weight loss pill that promises to help you effectively get rid of the stress-related belly fat.

It claims to contain a wide range of important ingredients that affect fat burning directly as well as other ingredients that will help you manage stress and anxiety levels while giving you a boost in energy and combating fatigue and stress in the process.

With these claims, is this product to be trusted?

Since there are similar other products on the market and this might not be the best option for you, we’ve taken the time to look at everything you need to know about Relacore.

At the end of this review, you will know whether Relacore is something you should use or not, as well as its alternatives.

Let’s get started!

What is Relacore?

Developed by the Carter-Reed Company and said to have sold at least 12.7 million bottles, Relacore is regarded as the best-selling belly fat pill in America.

It’s marketed as the feel-good fat-burning/ weight loss pill that will reduce your belly fat in weeks. With its development based on the link between stress and excess accumulation of belly fat, Relacore is believed to be the breakthrough, non-sedative, stress-reducing, anti-anxiety, and a high-performance, mood-boosting pill.

Now, even though this pill is marketed as a magic weight loss pill, the company notes that its users will only experience its benefits – reduction of the unflattering belly bulge – if they use the pill in conjunction with exercise and a sensible diet.

The company further claims that Relacore is a clinically-proven pill, and it will help lower stress levels while allowing the body to release the unwanted fats. As a potent stress-reliever and an energizer, Relacore is said to reduce the production of cortisol, the stress hormone.

The company also has released a more potent pill, Relacore Extra. The new product is formulated with the brand’s proprietary accelerated fat burning compound, and it promises to increase the speed at which you lose weight, while leaving you with a burst of energy, even as it helps you attain a leaner toned and a firm physique.

Are these claims true?

Back to the facts.

We are all stressed to a certain extent, and some of this stress is harmful to our bodies. But the body is this masterpiece that has a way of regulating stress until it cannot.

It all has to do with cortisol and DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone. Like cortisol, the body produces DHEA, an adrenal hormone that increases testosterone and estrogen levels. The DHEA levels reduce with age, but cortisol and DHEA are meant to naturally counterbalance each other.

Unfortunately, increased stressors mean higher cortisol than DHEA levels, especially with age, and this unbalanced cocktail leaves everything in shambles – increased appetite, increased fat accumulation, anxiety, depression, heart disease, and digestive problems.

The diet and fat-loss pills on the market are mostly infused with DHEA to counter cortisol and help in weight loss.

What about Relacore?

What is Relacore?

Relacore represents a blend of herbs, and unfortunately, the concentrations of the ingredients remain unclear.

To help us determine whether Relacore is worth its salt or not, we’ll look at its ingredients below.

Relacore’s Ingredients

  • B vitamins
  • Magnolia bark
  • Passion flower
  • Asian Ginseng
  • Chinese Skullcap Root
  • Minerals – zinc, magnesium, and calcium
  • Vitamin C

These ingredients are said to boost energy levels, enhance fat-burning, reduce fatigue, and improve mood.

The biggest catch and our issue with this brand of the fat burning pill is that the company website fails to specify the ingredients in the supplement, which is a big red flag if you ask us.

Fortunately, Amazon has a list of the ingredients listed.

One interesting thing to note is that this supplement has more of the normal vitamins and minerals you can get from the diet rather than exotic ingredients, as we’ve noticed with most of the fat-burning supplements on the market.

Exotic Ingredients

Magnolia bark

Magnolia bark is said to give you an energy boost, and it might also help keep your stress levels low by decreasing blood cortisol levels. There is no evidence to back these claims, though.

Note, however, that the magnolia bark is a flowering plant that’s known as an indirect source of DHEA when combined with other Traditional Chinese Medicine herbs, and the resultant combination has been shown to be effective in combating anxiety. These details are unclear in Relacore, though.

Passion Flower

Passionflower has been shown to be quite effective in calming your mind and in anxiety management. It’s believed that the Passion Flower boosts the levels of GABA in the brain, reducing brain activity, helping you relax.

Other trials show the potential of the passionflower in relieving anxiety.

Asian Ginseng

A staple in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Asian Ginseng is believed to wield a lot of power when it comes to weight loss.

It is also believed to help in the management of anxiety and stress-induced hormonal changes.

The other benefits of Asian Ginseng as used in TCM include:

  • Stimulation of immune function
  • Improvement of overall well-being, concentration, and stamina
  • It slows down aging
  • It helps to relieve various health issues, including cardiovascular disorders, anxiety, depression, etc.

Chinese Skullcap Root

Some of the potential benefits of skullcap root extracts include a boost in your mood and reduced anxiety. It is thought that this extract causes the changes in your mood while reducing your anxiety levels by causing processes that stimulate the production of GABA, a neurotransmitter with nerve-calming effects.

Perilla

This is another herb used in traditional Chinese medicine, and it might boost your mood and help fight respiratory issues.

Phosphatidylserine

Phosphatidylserine is an important ingredient in cells needed for the secretion of DHEA. It contains fatty acids and amino acids, and its presence in this supplement tells us that Relacore might just be worth the price.  Unfortunately, there aren’t more ingredients to boost its function.

Does it work?

Relacore

Having looked at the ingredients that make up Relacore, we are on the fence about its effectiveness. You might have to push yourself harder in the gym and make significant dietary changes to lose the belly fat.

There’s also the fact that the use of cortisol-blockers might not result in weight loss. Weight loss requires long-term dedication to weight loss efforts like and exercise and calorie restriction. Relacore doesn’t play a big role in speeding up fat-burning in the body.

However, it will enhance your mood and energy levels and even reduce your anxiety. And with calorie restriction plus exercise, it might help you lose weight.

Better Alternative to Relacore – PhenQ

You still have to work out and change what you eat, but at the end of the day, PhenQ is safer, and it’s made of several ingredients that enhance fat-burning. It has no side effects, unlike Relacore.

Pros
  • Energy boost
  • Mood enhancing
  • It helps with anxiety
  • Small changes in weight if incorporated with a healthy lifestyle
  • It slows down aging

Relacore Side Effects

  • Nausea
  • Insomnia
  • Irregular periods
  • Acne
  • Weight gain

Should You Buy Relacore?

Relacore is not the most effective weight loss pills on the market, and though some of the ingredients will help put you at a better mental state, most of the claims about the effectiveness of this supplement are not backed, and the details of the products’ formulation are missing too.

I highly recommend checking our list of the best fat burners on the market. PhenQ is the most effective but our list has helped thousands – Click here to see best fat burners.
