Indeed, our world was turned upside down when world leaders stated that staying away from public places like our gyms, restaurants, and movie theatres were the way to end the current pandemic. So what is a person to do?
Establish your own way to work out, of course! And you can really get ripped at home. In fact, I find that working out at home is much better than the gym for a number of reasons.
I am a bit of a germaphobe and find that there are very real germs at the gym from other people. Hot spots, as quoted by Fitness Magazine , include free weights, locker rooms, yoga balls, even your own gym bag!
So what’s my point?
It is that you can establish a great home gym. It’s going to be an investment, but believe me, it’s going to be worth it, and it will pay you lifelong dividends!

This machine, the PR1000, offers over 25 exercises that will work the whole body. There is 200lbs of Power Rod resistance to keep your muscles working hard. The bench can even be set up to mimic a rowing machine, which is a great workout.

The LCD display is nice and large, and will show you the distance you’ve traveled, calories burnt, and your speed, plus your heart rate. The large seat is comfortable, which is a real blessing. Sometimes the gym bike seats feel super uncomfortable!

What’s not to love about a great workout bench? There are so many awesome things you can do with this flat bench! You can lie on your back and do chest flyes. You can actually do pushups off the bench if you are unable or do not want to get onto the floor. You can do dips off the edge of the bench. Or, you can do my personal favorite rows using the bench with one knee resting on it.

You’re not gonna have a great workout unless you come down from it the right way! After the cool-down and stretch, a good foam roller is a way to make sure muscle tension.
This was something we used to only see performed by pro athletes and elite Olympians, but the fact is, it’s good for everybody- and a foam roller definitely has a place in your gym.
This AmazonBasics foam roller is a nice way to release tension and pain in areas that tend to stay sore for you after you’re done working out. You can easily run this over large areas like the thighs and the back, too.
The foam roller works with your body weight to get the blood flowing and boost circulation to the soft tissue areas. The roller targets rigger points and provides a sort of therapy to improve your flexibility and increase your range of motion, all while lowering your discomfort and pain levels.
